A Year in Review

I cannot believe that this year is coming to an end. I’ve decided to look back on the blogs and go through some of the themes and topics that I have discussed throughout this past year.

I started with tips on being a landlord which included: living near your rental property, knowing tenant-landlord laws, having a respectful but firm relationship with your tenants, including regular inspections and much more.

As the year progressed, I wrote about the benefits of switching over to solar panels and both the financial benefits as well as the benefits for the earth. And other ways to be green on Earth Day. I did research on when was the best time to sell a home and shared with you all that based on a Zillow study, that homes sold about 15% faster and for 2% more than the average listing mod-March to mid-April.

I went though a couple different articles that I shared some of my home upgrade ideas and do it yourself project ideas to spruce up your home or rental units.

Some of my favorite articles were also writing out the different tidbits of advice based on questions that I have received over the years. I reviewed some of the common fears people have brought up to me about buying property and gave out some tips on how to appropriately get over them.

I did segments on some of the top real estate agents both in the local area and around the US. I researched habits of the financially successful and housing predictions.

It was also very enjoyable to share tips about local events and holidays that would occur in Los Angeles.

Those are just some of the topics to name a few! I am looking forward to this upcoming year and in doing more research about local markets, housing trends, and local events that are bound to happen. I look forward to continue being a well rounded blog for you guys. Please feel free to give me ideas for some of the concepts that you would like to know more about.

Looking forward to the new year and wishing you a happy 2018!
