End of Summer 2017 Events

It was inevitable and it is slowly approaching….the end of summer. But don’t you worry. There are plenty of end of summer celebrations and events that are happening all over Los Angles. Here are a list of a few events that you can attend as the summer is coming to an end.

The Hollywood Bowl

I know I have mentioned this place before in other posts, but trust me people, if you have not gone to the Hollywood Bowl yet this summer, you don’t want to miss out. The Bowl will be open until September 24 so you still have time to catch movie screenings or some smooth summer jazz.

Echo Park Rising

I am looking forward to this event so much! It is a FREE four day event that highlights different stores and restaurants in Echo Park. They also have a line up of live music throughout the venue. It takes place August 17 – 20, 2017 and you can find more information about the different venues here: www.epr.la

Brew at the LA Zoo

So I didn’t find out about this until recently, but I’m so glad that I did. Did you know that they have a brewery at the LA Zoo? The do! You can try from 50 different types of beers and be among some of the wildest most exotic animals….how cool is that?

Los Angeles County Fair

There isn’t anything quite like the fair that says summer! With a wide array of rides, games and food there are countless of activities to do at the fair. They also offer End of Summer Concert Series so you can jam out at the end of your summer!

KX Festival

This festival is a two day festival that aims to bring the community together through music, food and art. The music includes a variety of hip hop, acoustic, and K Pop. It goes from the 19 and 20 of August, meaning that it overlaps with Echo Park Rising but the good thing about this festival, is that it too is FREE.

If you all know of any other end of summer events, be sure to send them my way. Hope you all had a wonderful summer and are enjoying the last few days of summer…but lets be real, in Los Angeles, summer never really ends.
