Halloween Weekend Fun

Unfortunately this year Halloween lands on a Tuesday but fortunately there is no shortage on fun things to do over the Halloween weekend in LA.

First on my list is Los Angeles Haunted Hayride.

Address: 4730 Crystal Springs Dr

Los Angeles, Ca

While there is a pumpkin patch and a few kid friendly rides, this place is catered to freak you out! There are two mazes (well one is a maze and the other is a trick or treat game/maze of sorts), a hayride, a carousel and more. Each year they have a theme and this year was clowns. It is located in Griffith Park.

Another amazing option for the weekend and something I have been dying to go try out is the Rooftop Cinema Club

Address: 1615 Vine St

Los Angeles, Ca

And yup, it’s exactly what you thought it was. Imagine comfy lounge chairs up on a rooftop in Los Angeles. Buildings and lights all around you, and a movie projected onto a massive screen. This weekend, they will be playing films such as Scream, Get Out and Nightmare on Elm Street so movies that will perfectly fit the spooky weekend atmosphere.

Warner Brothers Studio and Paramount Pictures

Address: Warner Brothers Studio

3400 W Riverside Dr.

Burbank, Ca

Paramount Pictures

5515 Melrose Ave

Los Angeles, Ca

Lights, camera, action! Both Paramount and Warner Brothers studio offers tours of the back lots with a haunted and spooky theme. At Warner Bothers you will be able to visit the sets and stages of various scary movies including The Exorcist. At Paramount Pictures you will be able to experience a two and a half hour guided tour of not only the studios but also of the Hollywood Forever Cemetery where many of Hollywoods most beloved stars are laid to rest.

And lastly, Santa Monica Zombie Crawl.

Don’t know what to be yet for Halloween? Why not buy some face make up, ragged clothes, and go as a zombie to Santa Monica’s annual zombie crawl. This isn’t a traditional bar crawl in that this one has particular rules. The rules that they have for participants is to obviously, dress like a zombie, to walk with your arms out and extended in front of you and to drag your body while making zombie noises all the while. The bars that are participating are Rusty’s Surf Ranch, Big Dean’s, Del Frisco’s Grille, Ye Old Kings Head, Barney’s Beanery, and Cabo Cantina. There will also be an after party at 1212 Santa Monica Blvd.

As always, those are only a few of the activities that I know that are occurring over the weekend. Feel free to drop me a comment in the comment section to share what you will be up to. I hope everyone has a safe a spooky Halloween!
